Workplace and Industrial Relations
Whether you have small or large business, our team has the skills and knowledge to help you resolve problems and make the best of an adverse situation. Finding the right information can be difficult and our team can assist you in the areas that you by providing relevant advice to your specific questions.
On a fee for service basis, our Workplace Relations Advisors can save you time, money and unnecessary worry by representing your business in areas such as unlawful dismissals, underpayment of wages, anti-discrimination complaints and industrial disputes. Our team is experienced in drafting workplace agreements along with contracts and other human resources policies.
Training Services
New skills and knowledge are critical to business survival in today’s fast-paced world. The Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory Training Services continue to deliver comprehensive quality training programs to help you and your staff gain new skills and knowledge to improve personal performance in the workplace.
The Chamber continues to deliver quality products that are relevant to your workplace and are the best value for money. Our experienced consultants and facilitators all have extensive, practical, hands-on experience in their fields of expertise and are required to undertake professional development each year to ensure they are kept up to date with the latest teaching practices and subject content.
Event Management

Environmental Consultancy Services
The Chamber of Commerce NT now offers a variety of Environmental Management Consultancy and Auditing Services for Northern Territory business and industry sectors. Services include Environmental Auditing, Environmental Policies, Environmental Management Plans, Waste, Water and Energy Minimisation Plans plus many others.
OH&S Consultancy Services
The Chamber has extended its services to the provision of assistance and advice on occupational health and safety. The services provided include NT specific training for business owners, managers, supervisors and elected health and safety representatives, advice on NT OH&S legislation as it affects businesses, assistance with implementation of safety management systems and auditing of existing safety management systems.
Lobbying
The Chamber of Commerce NT is the voice of Territory business and knows that economic policies and actions affect the economic climate in which our members operate. We know industry is controlled by government legislation and regulation. That is why lobbying and representation to Government is paramount.
Networking
Membership extends your connections beyond the realms of your business. No matter what industry, you can be guaranteed we’ll introduce you to potential business partners and customers from all realms of business through briefings, seminars and regular social events tailored for networking. Networking is a vital aspect of Chamber services.
Information Dissemination
The Chamber receives and provides information across a large number of issues and upcoming events. We provide an electronic update of information every fortnight to inform members of relevant business events as they become available to us. In addition, the Chamber issues a magazine titled 'The Voice' published quarterly and sent to over 1,600 members and other relevant organisations.

International Business Council
The International Business Council (IBC) is an incorporated member-based Council within the Chamber NT, whose members are involved in the exporting, importing and trading of myriad products and/or services. The IBC hosts a dedicated TradeStart Advisor, in partnership with Austrade, whose primary responsibility is to assist NT companies in becoming export-ready. The IBC can provide advice on the following aspects of international trade such as starting up an import or export business, trade documentation requirements - Certificates of Australian Origin, finding suppliers or buyers both in Australia and overseas, export market assessments and various other services.
Manufacturers Council
The Manufacturers Council (MC) is an incorporated member-based Council within the Chamber NT, representing the manufacturing sector in the Northern Territory. The MC provides services for its members including promoting the capability of Territory business by producing the annual Services, Suppliers & Manufacturers Directory, disseminates a monthly fact sheet entitled Manufacts, containing information and opportunities relating to projects of interest to the manufacturing sector, particularly in areas such as oil & gas, mining, rail/port, and Defence; organises seminars and forums on issues of importance to the manufacturing sector at discounted prices; and the provision of export advice, including assistance programs, market analysis, and business matching.

Members or employees of the Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory are able to become members of the Qantas Club at Corporate rates.
Joining Instructions - New Qantas Club Members

The fees for the Chamber of Commerce Corporate Scheme are:
- 1 year - $555.00 including a $230.00 joining fee (GST included)
- 2 years - $800.00 including a $230.00 joining fee (GST included)
Joining Instructions – Existing Qantas Club Members
Current Qantas Club Members may transfer to the Chamber of Commerce scheme and take advantage of the corporate rates. Complete a Corporate Membership Application (Individual) leaving the ‘Payment Method’ section blank, and return the form to the Chamber of Commerce.
At your next renewal, the fees will be:
