CAAAPU is the Central Australian Aboriginal Alcohol Programs Unit, an Aboriginal Corporation based in Alice Springs. Since 1991, CAAAPU has been a place of hope and healing for Aboriginal people in Central Australia impacted by alcohol and other drugs. Nestled on a 4-hectare property just outside Alice Springs, our grounds are enriched with native gardens and cultural spaces where Traditional Owners share knowledge and lead programs that nurture connection to culture, country, and community. CAAAPU provides residential rehabilitation services, guided by culture, connection to Country, and community strength.
