ALICE SPRINGS | Respect at Work - Management & Prevention of Harassment & Bullying
Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace is a critical responsibility for every leader and manager. With significant changes to Australian workplace laws, employers now have a proactive obligation to prevent workplace harassment, discrimination and bullying before they occur.
This interactive 2.5-hour Respect at Work session is designed for leaders, managers and supervisors who want to build positive workplace cultures while meeting their legal obligations. Participants will explore the Respect@Work reforms and gain a practical understanding of the positive duty requiring employers to take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate unlawful workplace conduct.
Attendees will learn how to identify inappropriate behaviour, respond effectively to workplace concerns, and manage issues with confidence and consistency. The session will also provide strategies for fostering respectful behaviours, psychological safety and inclusion across teams.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to create safer workplaces, minimise organisational risk, and lead teams where everyone feels valued, respected and supported.
