Foodbank SA & NT is the largest food relief provider in the Northern Territory, with a vision to end hunger. More than 50% of Territorian households have experienced food insecurity in the past year, driven by rising living costs and the impact of disasters on vulnerable communities.

Foodbank plays a critical role in addressing this need, supplying 90% of the food distributed by the welfare sector and supporting over 120 agencies and community groups. It also delivers more than 80 School Breakfast Programs, providing free meals to children, including those in remote areas.

As the primary provider of food relief during disasters, Foodbank ensures timely support through initiatives such as community Food Lockers. Each month, it distributes over 60 tonnes of food, equivalent to more than 120,000 meals, through operations in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine.
Despite these efforts, demand continues to grow, and partnerships remain vital to help end hunger.
